It was lovely to meet so many of you today! My sincere apologies to those of you who came on Wednesday expecting to meet me. We teachers were unaware that the date had initally been sent out as August 26th - which I believe may have been last year's date. I know that it can be very challenging to alter work and appts. Thank you for all your efforts.
For those of you who could not be at school today, I will look forward to meeting you soon!
We will have a low-key start to the day on Tuesday, going over classroom rules and routines and just getting comfortable with each other. If anyone would like to volunteer to send in a snack/treat for our first day just shoot me an email. maureen.swenson@oregonsd.net or mas@oregonsd.net

I saw lots of smiles today, but if at anytime your child rebels at the idea of coming to school (not the getting up, but the actual school part), please let me know. I bet we can fix it!
