Dear Parents,
Thank you so much for all the donations of ziplocs, hand sanitizers, snacks and Clorox wipes! We should be set for some time, now!
We have already been able to implement our Daily Five framework for Literacy. We have been reading to self, reading to someone and journaling. Your children are good directon-followers!
Thank you for helping your child with his/her Memory Box! We will continue to share some each day until everyone has had a chance. They are an interesting and fun way to learn about each student!
Mrs. Johnson and I are taking our Memory Boxes and rotating through the other second grades. That way all the kids will know all the teachers and vice versa!
We are into our second week of math and will be reviewing for awhile. It's fun to see how much the children have learned in first grade and K and see how that will build this year in second!
