Dear Parents,
Today we began our butterfly/moth portion of our science unit. Next week we will exchange with Mrs. Sessler's class and she will teach about frogs and toads!
We had our Reading Map test this morning. It seemed to go very well for the children. They were very quiet and hard working! Tomorrow will be the math during our math block - 12-1.
Picture re-takes are tomorrow. If you want your child to have another picture taken, please send back the first set. Thanks!
Is anyone interested in sending in a treat of some kind for Friday afternoon? We will have had our first full week - very long with testing and lots of hard work. I used to do Friday treats when I taught 4th grade and wonder if there is an interest? Let me know if you would like to send something in for this week and I will make a sign-up sheet for Open House night so you can sign up to send in something on the Fridays!
Hope your week is going well so far. We learned that there are vampire moths that actually drink animals' blood - the boys loved that - yuck!
